  Encryption Protection:
EntropyX uses AES-256 encryption via cryptography.fernet when available, with a secure fallback if the library is missing. Every compressed file can be encrypted before storage or transfer.


File Validation and Safe Handling:
Built-in protection against path traversal and injection risks—filenames are sanitized, disallowed characters are blocked, and strict file type whitelisting is enforced. Only files and formats explicitly supported are processed.


File Size and Path Controls:
Smart file size limits prevent resource exhaustion, and all file paths are validated in real time to ensure operations remain secure. Reserved system names and dangerous characters are blocked to minimize platform-specific risks.


Controlled External Operations:
All external tool calls (FFmpeg, PowerShell, Ghostscript) use strict argument validation, never shell=True, and include error handling. External processes are isolated and monitored to reduce the risk of code execution vulnerabilities.
